Tang Tze Lye explore the constructive dialogue between queer strangers whom
encounters in sexual meetings. It is often or usually occurred in dark places
like toilets or parks. The black space is a metaphor to a virtual space that
question the physicality of forms and anatomy and play important role. I get
inspired from the outdoor activity that queer people usually do and perceive it
is quite abstract. The material of the art is deprived from the street art and mural paintings and the conventions using fabric dye paint, gouache with the technique of washes.
